A real family owned diner. Food is always delicious. Portions are big and I always take at least half home. It’s a home town diner so atmosphere is simple and cozy. Service is attentive and everyone is courteous. Definitely recommend whether you are local or just visiting.
The food was good. Pretty safe. The home fries were bland, the big meat omelet was good. The thick French toast seemed to be grilled bread not battered, just grilled. The pancakes were good. If you just want something pleasant and safe, order hot sauce and shake the salt and pepper. The syrup tastes candied. It is very different from anything I've tried. You'll be fine here. Nothing spectacular but sometimes simple is all you need.
Great diner! We went for breakfast and they were able to accommodate a group of ten immediately. The service was very good. The food was so yummy. The decor is classic diner, very cute. Would recommend and would return
11/24/24 it's been a very long time since I've been here. Nice to get back for brunch. I had the huevos rancheros, eggs over medium - good. The GF had eggs and one Pumpkin Walnut pancake.... It was so good!! She ordered a second one! This is her new favorite place for Pumpkin pancakes. We finished with Rice Pudding, unfortunately this was the worst rice pudding we've ever had! It looked nice when it landed on the table, but it was inedible. ZERO flavor & funky texture. I'm not sure who made this but from the looks and lack of flavor, it seems the wrong rice was used and it was made with only water. It was translucent in color, very strange. The whipped cream was the best part (reddi whip). I hope this was just a mistake in this batch?! It was after closing time when we were done, so i didn't feel like delaying the staff to express my thoughts, it was time for everyone to go home. All good. It was only $2.50. Great service by Isabella. Go Yankees! We will be back- :)
I absolutely love the food here. I also loved my waitress KATE she was very attentive to my husband and I. The portions were big... I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be returning .h Hat's off to Kate for taking a picture with me!!
Here from Indiana. We stopped at a antique store down the road and was recommended this place. Wow, glad we came. Has a old diner atmosphere, the service was very friendly. The food was homemade and some of the meats were from local meat shops. I had the Texas melt, its was amazing, and fries were homemade and super good. I tried my wife potato soup and it was really good as well. Highly recommend this place.
